Caveats - youll likely need to play with levels, both recording the pulses to the tape and from tape into. But as far as I know, that's inherent to the 909. What I would do is download their audio sync pulse thing, play it from the computer, record it to track 4 of your tape machine to create the sync track, then connect the output from track 4 to the audio input on the back of the Multiclock. ![]() There is of course the 909, that is not as tight on the grid as the Rytm. I only have a SR-909 synced via DIN, a Elektron Analog Rytm2 synced via MIDI and the modular system, where the Pam's New Workout is synced via DIN and another Pam is slaved to that. I´ve even tried a different computer, different sound card, different DAW and so on, all my dinsync-machines still jitter a couple of ms, maybe not a super big deal, but far from rock solid timing.
